Ten Minutes to Focus on What Matters – The Focused Intention Podcast

Like so many others, during the 2020 pandemic, I struggled to find my footing and anchor myself in a world that operated differently. I had just started a new job, and we had just moved back to the Chicago area after ten years away. A lot had changed.I had been studying and practicing mindfulness and meditation for quite a few years by then  I found comfort and quite frankly, something to do, in sharing mindfulness, intention, reflection and meditation with others.


First, I wrote a book based on my experience as a teacher and then I started a podcast – The Focused Intention Podcast. Since then, The Focused Intention Podcast has offered more than 150 episodes filled with intentions, reflections, and meditations for those who are looking for a practical and heartfelt way to focus on what really matters while in the midst of a crazy, busy world. 


Season 1 (daily): August 2020–October 2020 – 51 episodes

Season 2 (daily): November 2020 – 28 episodes

Season 3 (Mondays/Fridays): June 2021–August 2021 – 25 episodes

Season 4 (Mondays/Fridays): August 2024–April 2025 – 71 episodes


Season 5 is in the works and will incorporate creativity and art with mindfulness.


The Focused Intention Podcast offers intentions, reflections, and meditations on a wide array of subjects and an episode from 2020 may be just as relevant to your life now as a brand new episode. It is my hope that you can find just the right message to help you focus on the things that matter.
